Ouch. Well that's not good. My sister lost her arm back at home. I know that can be tough. She does have a robot arm now. So if she does show up here, maybe we can find a way to make her a robot leg. I know it's not perfect but it's something I could look into just in case. But you're right. This place does suck.

We've always had our monsters. Apparently they've been around longer than us. It's hard to wrap my head around a world where they just don't exist. I'd be out of a job if they didn't.

Pretty much. It's weird. People are a lot more free with their emotions here. We put in a lot of effort to cause a panic or anything hysterical. It's just weird to see the same precautions not being taken around here.

It's kind of the same concept with our monsters. Just instead of being loud you can't get too angry, stressed, sad, or scared. Because that's the kind of noise our monsters are attracted too. They don't really react to noise. At least if it doesn't come from a person. They just ignore animals.

Deerington brings together the strangest crowds, huh? It's not so bad when you're living in one of the bigger cities with a bunch of defenses or near one of the smaller combat schools. But there's a reason we don't have a lot of small towns out too far away from them. It's not exactly easy for everyone to do. Keeping quiet like that couldn't be easy either. No birthday parties or festivals. Not a whole lot to keep the spirits up.
